Amber Dent teething necklaces are made especially for babies. They are durable and with the right care, the necklace will last for as long as you need it, and you may even be able to pass it on to your next child. Some children continue to wear their necklaces as a stylish accessory!

You should always ensure that your necklace is knotted in between every bead. This is so that if the necklace breaks from a child pulling at it (with a lot of force), the beads remain intact. All of our necklaces are individually hand-knotted between each bead to maximise safety. Only one bead should separate from the necklace at most if the necklace breaks.

For added safety, Amber Dent clasps are made from amber and plastic and are screwed to close. The clasp is designed to release if the necklace is pulled at forcefully in which case no beads will separate from the necklace.

Our necklaces are to be worn, not chewed on! Children should be supervised when wearing them. Ideally the necklaces should be removed at night time although many parents leave them on. Some parents tend to tie them around the child’s ankle at night time. The beads on our necklaces are small enough to be swallowed but not cause choking.
